ATBU Student Loan Application Portal
The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University has launched its student loan portal to allow students who are finding it complicated to fund their education to apply.
This is harmonized with the Federal Government of Nigeria Student Loan Act, which states that all Nigerian indigenes who are tested in chasing their education should have access to the Nigerian Student Loan.
The loan is interest-free and is expected to be paid back two years after the achievement of the one-year necessary National Youth Service Corps.
Though the ATBU student loan only covers tuition fees, it does not cover accommodation or other expenses, and it is paid straight into the university account.

- Must have NIN.
- Be a student of ATBU.
- Must bring two guarantors: a lawyer who has at least 10 years of post-call experience and a civil servant with at least 12 years of service.
- JAMB Result.
- Should have WAEC, FSLC, NECO, or NABTEB/GCE.
- State of origin certificate
- Computer literacy.
