Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must be Indian citizens.
- Must belong to the economically backward class category.
- Must be a domicile of Tripura.
- The applicant’s income or family income must not exceed INR 2,500,000.
- Applicants must belong to a scheduled caste.
- The applicant must have passed Class 10.
- Must be enrolled in a post-matriculation or post-graduation course in an accredited institution of learning.
- Students in pursuit of postgraduate courses in medicine are also eligible to apply, if they are not allowed to practice medicine during their course of study.
- Students who seek distance learning can apply for this scholarship program.
- Students must not have received scholarship opportunities from any other scholarship provider.
- Students who change their course of study after completing one level of education are not eligible to apply.
You Are Not Eligible To Apply If;
- You have completed one or more levels of education and chose to pursue your studies at the same level, in a different subject. Students who fall into this category are not eligible to apply.
- You have completed a degree such as a B.Ed. or BT in a professional course of study.
- You are currently in lass 11 or class 12 of a higher secondary school or multipurpose high school. Due to the fact that your education is continuous, you are not eligible to apply.
The Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship will not be granted to students who fall into the above category, the reason being that students are reviewed and selected based on the eligibility criteria. And if found to be in this aforementioned category, your application may not be considered.

Step Three
You will need to input your user ID and an email address to complete the registration. Provide this detail and every other piece of information, and then click on Register.

After successfully creating your account, click on Registered Students’ Login to log in with your user ID and password.

Click on the ‘Apply For Scholarship’ button, and then you will be able to access the Dr. Ambedkar scholarship form.

Students should fill out the online application form with all the required details.
