The Korean New Year holiday is called “Seollal” lasts up to 3 days. The Korean New Year is just like the Chinese New Year, the adults wear colorful traditional costumes which is the hanbok. The hanbok for women consists of a wrap-around skirt, a blouse, and Chima while the men hanbok consists of a t-shirt and baji (pants). A lot of dishes are served during these celebrations, fireworks are launched into the sky, and there is a lot of bonding at this time of the year.

There are many ways to celebrate the Korean New Year. There are a lot of things you can do to celebrate. Here are some ways to celebrate;

There are lot more ways to celebrate; you can still celebrate with families and friends. You can choose to have a party indoors with your family. Spending time with your family during this period is fun.
