Lunar New Year
The Lunar New Year started many years ago; it was a time to celebrate love, happiness, family reunions, and the society at large. It is popularly called the Chinese New Year, is the most significant festival in China. It marks the beginning of a New Year. Also, there are many traditions, beliefs and superstitions tied to the celebration. Most especially, it is a time for families to spend time together. The celebration is always a big celebration featuring so many outdoor activities.
The Lunar celebrations always come in grand styles, with red clothes, beautiful and colorful decorations. Young adults are given money in red envelopes. Also the reunion of family members, friends usually take place during the course of the Celebration. There are many activities that take place during the festive celebration like firecrackers, fireworks, eating and drinking, candlelight, visiting family members, cleaning of the house, cooking of special food.

The date is usually determined by the Chinese lunar calendar. The Lunar celebration is a very big festive celebration and lasts for 16 days, It is always celebrated with the lantern festival.
